It was very centrally located near the convention center, Chinatown, Downtown, and what I guess is called Old Montreal. Front desk staff was professional, very polite in an expected Canadian sense and spoke English perfectly I mention the English part as I’m an American it was my first time in Montreal, I’d never stayed in a city where French was the official language. In Montreal, I learned while French is the official language, every business and most residents I’m assuming were Bilingual in French and English. I cannot speak for the rest of Quebec but the language barrier for English speakers does not really exist in Montreal.

Love the interior decor and the calmness of the lobby. Very clean and nicely light. Fish look decent and healthy. A staff member was very kind to a baby running around and played with her a bit because the exhausted mother could not, I love that! I had accidentally booked a November stay for February and the staff at the reception were able to help me sort out my situation and get a hotel room in the end so that I didn’t end up roofless for a night in Montreal (I’m from Ottawa, it would be a long drive back home if I were tired with no other place to go)!

For staff, we were exceptionally served by Greg when we checked in on March 13 as he made sure that our two rooms were right across each other. This was very convenient for our two families. Greg also was very helpful to guide us on getting our parking in the hotel for our van. He was very patient and clear in answering our questions. We will surely comeback to this hotel because of staff like Greg!

Generally the hotel was great, it was so nice to be so close to metros and the Chinatown shops and restaurants. The pagoda and cultural art and Koi fish in the lobby next to the restaurant were a big hit with our little one and our family especially during lunar new year. The room was as expected and comfortable, nice to have a pool/hot tub/sauna/gym on site.

Did not participate in breakfast, but the location was great. Walking distance from Old Montreal, as well as the Place Des Arts strip on Rue St Catherine. Also lots of fantastic Asian cuisine less than a block from the hotel. The room was clean and a good size. The view was not the best. But it is what it is. Hotel had a pool, gym, sauna, and hot tub.
